Because of the strong demand for innovation Makor has decided to invest more considerably in research and development. This company commitment reflects a feature that has always distinguished Makor Group: innovation and technology above all. There are two goals to achieve: experiment new environmentally-friendly finishing cycles that use ecological paints (mainly water based or solvent-free) and save energy that is all those methods and devices to guarantee cut down of energy costs each product unit.
Besides, that are other projects related to the increase of machine performances and simplifying their use which mainly means increase automation of the plant. The ease of use of a finishing plant must be guaranteed more and more and it is obtained through a considerable use of the mechatronics, the sum of mechanical and electronic technologies, of new components and software that properly applied allow to achieve those goals. These investments have resulted not only in the structures dedicated to the design and testing of new prototypes but in widening the researchers team involved in various projects.
Crucial in this context is the synergy between different companies and between these and universities and other research organizations. For this reason, about 2 years ago Makor joined a consortium of companies and universities (Pomec, Polo Meccatronica. For info see www.pomec.it) in order to make the necessary synergies on new common developments of the industrial world, so that each company is able to devote themselves to their specific field. Thanks to continuous contact with the pertinent research organizations, coordinated and supported by related universities, it is possible to share different experiences and speed up the innovation process.
Thanks to this commitment to innovation Makor Group can offer the most advanced solutions to customers who visit our Test Lab for testing innovative cycles or new machinery. Makor Group may also provide the necessary advice to use these technologies in their production cycle and prepare the required documentation to finance the investment.
