In the midst of a global economic situation that still looks uncertain, MAKOR GROUP continue to look ahead and to prepare for the changelles of the years to come.

5 years ago, with the acquisition of TECNOLEGNO and the strong efforts to penetrate the panel finishing industry, the mission had been declared: MAKOR GROUP intends to be a major player worldwide for finishing projects, able to support its sales and distribution network with always more technology and solutions for the different application for finishing.

5 years later, with important success stories and installations in the panel finishing area, MAKOR GROUP has launched a further expansion of its product range, aimed at fully completing the offer to the industry and become an ‘all-in-one-place’ global supplier to the finishing industry. Agreements have been signed with the partners that will contribute to this project and will help MAKOR GROUP to respond with highly technological solutions to all enquiries related to the following applications:

• roller coating lines
• high-gloss lacquering lines with 5-axis robot
• finishing lines for volumetric items, such as pre-assembled furniture and windows
• polishing lines for flat surfaces and edges of panels

MAKOR sales structure and dealers network worldwide will be the first to take advantage from this expansion plan. In fact it will now be possible for them to enlarge the spectrum of their marketing activities in their markets, with the possibility to serve new prospects and be competitive on projects which before they could not follow. In brief, this will allow MAKOR sales organisation to be more present on the various markets worldwide, having the possibility to offer solutions, not only for profile and panel lines, but for any type of finishing projects.

In the meantime, MAKOR GROUP is continuing to invest resources in the research of innovative technology to be applied to the various finishing processes. Among the latest innovations implemented recently:

• special coating solutions for edges on the GEMINI line, aimed at responding to clients requirements both on UV and waterbase application
• special UV lamps with higher performance which also reduce the running costs
• research of more efficient ways to dry waterborne products, including the use of microwave drying technology

In order to keep-up with the product range development and the new fields of application which MAKOR is planning to penetrate, new personnel has been employed in the Technical department. Also the Service department is been restructured to include new colleagues that bring their background of experience in the various applications and will allow MAKOR to maintain its high standards of after-sales service.
