The strong growth of MAKOR GROUP also in the panel finishing sector is proved once again by the development of its product range dedicated to this application. In the occasion of the XYLEXPO exhibition, we will be pleased to present a complete finishing line for UV waterborne coatings composed by oscillating sprayer mod. KRONOS, flash-off tunnel mod. FASTDRY and UV oven mod. ULTRADRY. The oscillating sprayer mod. KRONOS sticks out in its market market segment thanks to high volumetric of its spray cabin, the automatic control of air-flows for managing the overspray, the patented cleaning system with high recovery efficiency and easy set-up. The flash-off tunnel mod. FASTDRY is a concentrated sample of technology dedicated to the drying of wet-coating, with a laminar zone followed by wind-jet module, IR lampsand TL low-pressure lamps. Conceived as modular equipment, FASTDRY can becomposed with different configurations to suite the different needs of each client. The UV oven mod. ULTRADRY which mounts new UV modules with automatic close-up device for emergency stop, lamp focus adjustment for a better UVefficacy, automatic stand-by in absence of processed pieces for energy saving andelectronic adjustment of lamp power from 60 W/cm IN STAND.BY up to 120 W/cm. 
Robospray, Top Quality Finishing"Just in Time" Production, Top Quality Finishing, Coatings Saving, Fastest Execution, Any Kind of Shape, User Friendly To cater for a market always more demanding in terms of finishing quality, but at the same time more and more leaning towards small batches and production just-in-time, MAKOR has developed a new generation high-tech spraying system. The automatic robot Robospray is designed for coating flat and 3D panels for the furniture industry thanks to the spray application by means of n. 1 or 2 articulated robotic arms mounted on CN axis. Apart from ensuring very high quality of application even in case of high-gloss finishing and maximum flexibility for just-in-time production, Robospray is capable to apply coating also on curved thicknesses and difficult shapes (ex. drawers) thanks to the 3D scanning of the entry barrier. Wide range of programmes to suite the different needs, from finishing of the single panel to series of panel, as well as oscillating mode for faster production. A new jewel of technology proposed by MAKOR for the most demanding requirements of the finishing industry.

From the synergy MAKOR-TECNOLEGNO was born GEMINI, the solution for coating and sanding edges of panels. Several important producers are focusing their attention on this part of the process in order to reduce the labour and the costs thanks to the following applications: UV SEALER ON MDF Edges of panels are coated thanks to a sequence of operations in line: pre-sanding – UV coating – UV drying – denibbing. The vacuum coating head is able to apply UV with 100% solid content, therefore allowing a total absence of product waist and zero emissions in the atmosphere.The special applicator, PATENTED by Makor, can apply important quantities of product in themost accurate way, even on very profiled and round edges WATERBASE SEALER ON MDF Thanks to continuous efforts of research and development dedicated by MAKOR to the processing of panel edges, GEMINI can be used also to apply waterborne products. The advantages ? A higher pigmentation and the possibility to apply all kinds of colours without any problem adhesion to the edge, low running costs (waterborne sealers tend to be 80% cheaper than UV coatings), total respect of environmental issues. UV PUTTY ON CHIPBOARD An additional system PATENTED by Makor gives the possibility to add on this same GEMINI machine a special head which is able to apply UV putty on chipboard panel edges. Since several months this innovative application has reached high quality levels, and the laboratory tests confirm that scratch resistance and adhesion parameters are very good. This new patented system will allow our clients to start evaluating, from now on, the possibility to replace MDF with chipboard panels, with obvious results in terms of reduced final costs for their manufactured goods.

Solidity of the machines, reliability of the transport system and high quality of the sanding groups have always been the trademark of TECNOLEGNO, so much so that its undisputed leadership position inthe processing and sanding of edges is widely acknowledged. In the last few years the company has widened further its range ofequipment, once again proving the capability to adapt to market demand. Beyond the installation of several unilateral edge sanding machines, which still represent the core business of the company, TECNOLEGNO has lately worked on many projects involving polishing of high-gloss edges, double-end machines for sizing and squaringpanels, customised CN sanders for window profiles. 
UV Line Towards Monomer-FreeTowards Monomer Free !!!, Solid Content 100%, Coating Saving, energy Saving !!! 100% UV more and more friendly: The continuous research of technical forefront solutions in collaboration with worldwide leading companies producing paints, have allowed MAKOR to propose finishing plants with no emission of harmful substances, neither for the ambient nor for the users, maintaining the correct conditions ofadhesion, chemical and mechanical resistance of the treated surfaces. The UV plant exhibited by MAKOR during Xilexpo 2010 is a concrete example, since it makes use of paints with dry residual acrylate free and with level of monomer (chemical binders potentially irritating) close to zero. Important news are presented also in the electronic system that feeds the drying lamps, that replaces the traditional transformers, allowing an optimal managing of lamps life and several advantages from an energy saving point of view. 
Window ProfilesHigh Quality Finish, Coating Saving, High Flexibility A constant research of new solutions has recently made it possible for MAKOR to develop a new system for the finishing of window profiles, considered by most operators as the way forward for joinery coating. Conceived in partnership with one of the most important companies in the Italian joinery industry, this new system is capable to apply wood preservative treatment and coating on the 4 sides of the window profile prior to assembling. Representing a natural extension of the latest CNC systems developed for the processing of joinery, this new system presents several advantages: high quality application on profile ends as well as on all 4 sides with the same pass; sanding and coating done automatically without any manual intervention (impossible to avoid with hanging lines traditionally used for the finishing ofpre-assembled windows); high flexibility in managing medium-small batches; important reductions of waist and possibility to apply wet-on-wet when thicker coating is needed; very flexible system for fast product change-over to suit just-in-time production. |
